Book Quotes #5 - May

I read some quite quotable book in the last month, I have to say that quote number two is defiantly my favourite and I am keeping my eye out for mugs, tote bag etc. with it on. Anyway here are my favourite quotes from the books I read in May:

1) “There are good days and hard days for me—even now. Don’t let the hard days win.”  - A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

Some great life advice from S.J Maas right there!

***

2) “To the people who look at the stars and wish, Rhys."
Rhys clinked his glass against mine. “To the stars who listen— and the dreams that are answered.”   - A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

I so wish I could use this as a drinks toast! I think it would work great at a wedding (now I just need to find a guy who wants to marry me and has preferably read ACOMAF... hum)

***

3) "If you wanted to, Safiya, you could bend and shape the world" - Truthwitch by Susan Dennard

Doesn't this sound a bit like the S.J. Maas quote "You could rattle the stars, you could do anything, if only you dared"?

***

4) “You can’t choose what happens to you, but you can choose who you become because of it."
- Forbidden Wish by Jessica Khoury

***

5)  “The price of every lie is that the truth will always come out.”

The main plot point for so many books is summed up in this one quote!

So there we have this months quotes, any particular quote stuck with you from the books you have read recently? Would love to hear them.
